Climb Out is a queer-run community nonprofit in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Our mission is to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for queer, trans, and other self-identified LGBTQIA2S+ voices in the climbing and outdoor communities. The Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network (SBTAN) nurtures a supportive, affirming, and loving community for gender-expansive people, their families, and allies. Through education, advocacy, and the creation of safe spaces in the Santa Barbara area, we celebrate and protect transgender rights, dignity, and well-being.
